ROCKFORD BUSINESS COURTYARD
This building is to be built in Rockford, MI. The design was created to provide something a little different from the typical 'strip-mall' genre. Comforable, human-scale facades hide the large retail/office space beyond.
North Elevation, drawn on CAD software. Elements of the structure are seemingly random and fun-loving, with each doorway existing in its own unique storefront. A new approach to the car oriented shopping experience.
West Elevation. Continuing the theme of unique, human scale retail spaces, linked by common materials, and details. This design proposal suggests some sort of stucco exterior, but anything's possible.
Floor plan of the retail spaces. Each entrance has it's own unique feel.
